Marketing your salon can be very time consuming unless you have the right tools. At Gratitude I use Millennium Software to the fullest taking advantage of the Loyalty Points Program, memberships, and also the referral tree just to say a few. I’m always trying to think of NEW ways to Market the salon so this year I revamped our Loyalty Points Program focusing it on the key numbers that will make the salon more successful. (example: 500 points for future reservations, 1000 points for referring a friend, and 200 points for retail purchases over $30) At the end of the quarter all guests that accumulate over 3000 points earn 10% off Services and 15% off Retail Purchases the following quarter.
We also offer memberships at the salon. This has been very successful bringing in $20,000 in memberships our first year. We have now added men’s MENberships as well. What I love about the memberships is it gives us the ability to see our guests more often and allows us to build great relationships with them. It also puts our frequency of visit at 12 visits a year for every guest that signs up.
My latest marketing creation is our 6 Degrees of Gratitude promotion. Using Millenniums Referral Tree we can keep track of where every new guest comes from. In the 6 Degrees of Gratitude Promotion we offer 2% off for every New Guest referred. After the first 6 New Guests you then earn 1% off of their referrals.
